Wanting to sponsor our festival?
Centerville Archway Days Festival is an independent 501(c)3 organization. We are not affiliated with the Town of Centerville, Main Street Centerville, or any other organization with "Centerville" in their name, for that manner.
That being said, we are always looking for sponsors for our annual event each year. On average, Centerville Archway Days Festival both brings in and spends upwards of $10,000 in a given year to ensure that our festival is a success for the community. We pride ourselves on continuing a tradition in the town that started with the Hoosier Celebration of 1988 and has continued to expand and grow over time as the
Centerville Archway Days Festival.
For transparency, over half of our income (approximately $6,000 to be precise) is brought in through our vendor fees, while the remainder comes primarily through donations and sponsorships.
We are grateful not only to all of our vendors, many of whom return year after year, but also to the community organizations and individual donors who help make our event a success through their generous support.
What does your money go to? Well, it's great that you ask! There are three categories in which funding is primarily directed towards:
1.) Kids Zone
2.) Entertainment
3.) Special Events
Our Kids Zone funding primarily goes towards our bounce houses. Each year, as the cost of everything else rises, the average cost has been $2,000 to rent Kids Zone items for the weekend, which includes an obstacle course, bounce house/slide, and a dunk tank. In prior years, we have been able to bring items such as a rock wall through the direct sponsorship of community organizations.
Entertainment is everything you see on the stage. In years past, we've had comedians, magicians, musical acts, and lots more on the stage. This is one of our major expenses - securing entertainment for the stage for you to enjoy costs thousands of dollars in booking fees, and the cost only continues to grow as we look for different acts each year to bring to Centerville.
Our third category is "special events". This includes events such as our Vehicle Show, Parade, as well as the different events that we bring. This year, we are having a BBQ Contest. In years past, we have held a decorating contest we called the "Business Showdown", as well as events including a 5K race.
As we approach this year's Archway Days, which is our 38th annual festival, we are once again asking for your support to help make our event a success. Donations are very much appreciated as they help to make our event a success each year, as well as provide opportunities to help our festival expand.
